Plot[]
Nikita steals from a secret Russian casino owing funds for Division for herself and Michael. They then look into the Black Box in their possession to find what Division secrets to expose. They learn of Operation Game Change, which involved Division heisting an immense amount of money by posing as army personnel and framed a military man who was investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, as Amanda settles in as the new leader of Division, with Sean Pierce sent from Oversight to keep an eye on her, she calls in Alex. She promises to help Alex find the man who ordered the deaths of her family if she recovers the black box from Nikita. Though Alex thinks that it would be simple to find the killer, Amanda shows her that her quarry is far more connected and has a larger empire than her father Nikolai Udinov. Amanda then goes down to Percy's cell so as to determine Nikita's next move. Percy becomes uncooperative and reminds Amanda that if he dies, either by his own hand or her's, then his remaining Guardians will release the contents of their respective black boxes. Nikita and Michael go to a military prison in disguise to get their man out. However, when Michael goes to slip him another ID band so he could walk out as someone else, he refuses, claiming that he's good as guilty. Therefore, Michael is forced to knock him out and carry him out in army fatigues. Back at their motel room, they ask why he claims to be guilty. Their man explains that his son Justin was threatened by Percy if he didn't say where the evidence he hid was. Therefore, he promised to keep his mouth shut if nothing happens to his son. Just then, Alex calls Nikita on their untraceable line, claiming to be doing bad. When Nikita steps out of her motel room, a Division team led by Sean arrive. Then suddenly, two UAVs appear and gun down Sean's team before dropping knockout gas. The rescuer turns out to be Birkhoff, though he admits that he's not planning on helping his friends. When Alex returns to Division, demanding to know why Amanda broke her promise to let her handle Nikita, Sean storms in, angry that Alex didn't disclose about her cell line. Alex insists that she needed to gain Nikita's trust and now they've all blew it. She then goes down to see Percy for information. He agrees to cooperate only if he is given a TV to keep up on local news to determine Nikita's next move. Nikita goes to New York to find Justin, only to find that Alex had beated her first. The latter talks Justin into leaving the bar, where Sean's team stands ready. However, at the same time, Michael gives a video call to Division. While trading words with Amanda, her analysts try tracing his call, only for Birkhoff to misdirect them. Once Division got a false location and dispatches Sean, Birkhoff reveals himself to gloat. Michael adds that Birkhoff is not working with him and Nikita. Nikita then intercepts Alex and frees Justin. She and Alex then fight. Niktia tells Alex that Division's using her, not the other way around. She breaks her friend's arm and then shoots her in the leg, warning her to get out while she still can. In the end, Justin's father's name is cleared, exposing one member of Oversight, leaving the rest of the committee worried. |
